Our customer in Madisonville needed more driveway space and new steps up to their home. The existing driveway on Haley Ave was barely wide enough for one car, just 9 feet across. We doubled the parking area to 20 feet wide by moving and rebuilding the retaining walls on both sides.

We had to dig out the front of the property to make room for the extra width, then build the forms for the new concrete driveway and steps. From there, we rebuilt the retaining wall to its new shape and poured the new 4000 psi concrete. Finally, we skim-coated the walls to finish everything off with a clean, uniform look.

Jobs like this are why we don’t sub anything out. Our experienced crew handled the excavation, retaining wall work, and concrete pour. This helps us control the quality and eliminate schedule gaps from coordinating between contractors. It also keeps pricing straightforward. We price the job based on materials and labor, not markups for multiple subcontractors.

Madisonville sits right between Hyde Park and Oakley, two areas we work in often, so this is exactly the kind of neighborhood we like to be in. Every driveway and patio we pour includes demolition, 4000 psi concrete, and concrete sealer. If your driveway is too narrow, or you’ve got retaining walls that are starting to lean or crumble, give us a call for a free estimate.
